Happy Reformation Day!!!!!!!!!!!

On Oct 31, 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 thesis to the door in Wittenburg, thus unknowingly beginning the Reformation. This is what we celebrate today. We avoid the American celebration of death and the occult and choose to enjoy a dinner out for breakfast as a family. In Texas, we had lots of friends from our church join us. In Ohio, thus far, it is just us enjoying Bob Evans! Yum!!!

So, Happy Reformation Day Ya'll!

Is this a real day? or a Christi thing? You're going to have to write more on this sometime? I understand the reformation and the separation of the catholic church, but this theses and other works by Luther was used heavily by the Nazi's as their justification for their treatment of the Jews. That's hard to put my mind around.

But then again, I love Halloween.

It is a real day. I don't know anything about the Nazi stuff, I haven't studied them alot but I wouldn't throw out something because they had perverted it. I have studied Luther and the Reformation and it is really interesting and amazing what God did. I'll ask a friend of mine for some good books, if you are interested in reading up on it.
